“SUCCESS”- NEW PROJECT OF MUNICIPALITY OF PALILULA

Under the Second Call of IPA CBC Bulgaria-Serbia, Municipality of Palilula project is approved, titled "SUCCESS", which will be implemented during the next two years with the Partnership with the Municipality of Svoge, Bulgaria, and in cooperation with the Bulgarian Foundation "Sport without borders". On this occasion, in Municipality of Palilula, there was first meeting of project teams from two municipalities. According to the president of Municipality of Palilula Boban Džunić, the project "SUCCESS" will be focused on improving the quality of life and strengthening the sustainable development of the border region through sport and the promotion of cooperation between the two cities in the area of youth, social and educational issues. For this project there was € 138,030.53 approved, said the president of Municipality.
Victoria Slavkova, project manager and her colleague, Miladin Savov, the deputy mayor of Svoge, expressed satisfaction with the forthcoming cooperation with the municipality of Palilula.
Cross-border Programme Bulgaria-Serbia is financed by the European Union through the pre-accession assistance and co-financed by the national budget of Bulgaria and Serbia to the co-beneficiaries themselves. Since then, there have been two calls published and 79 contracts signed worth 19.1 million Euros.
